A seminar of agricultural experts on the subject "Opportunities and prospects for the cultivation and marketing of oil and aromatic crops in 2010 marketing year” took place on 17th of December, 2009 on the basis of LTD “Fruktovyi svit” in the conference hall of one of the most prestigious hotels in Khmelnytsky - “Ljube-plus".

The seminar was held for the purpose of information and practical awareness of agricultural specialists with the methods of cultivation and marketing opportunities for aromatic crops such as flax, mustard, coriander, sorghum, chickpeas.

The seminar was attended by representatives of farms of southern, central and western regions of Ukraine. In total, this event was attended by 50 people. General Director of LTD "Fruktovyi svit" Nikishin Dmitriy entered with opening statement.

  Presentations were also made by:

1. Masur Valery Aleksandrovich and Gurinovitch Stepan Josipovich - specialists of the Institute of cruciferous crops, Ivano-Frankovsk.

2. Mishnev Alexandr Vasilievich and Rudenko Oksana Nikolaevna - specialists of the Institute of oil-aromatic and medicinal plants (Ukrainian Academy of agricultural science), Simferopol.

3. Zayats Sergei Aleksandrovich - specialist of the Institute of irrigated agriculture in the southern region, Kherson.

4. Pashtetskyi Vladimir Stepanovich - director of the Crimean Institute of agro-industrial production (Ukrainian Academy of agricultural science).

All reports were accompanied by slide presentations, which contributed to understanding problems of growing and marketing of oil and aromatic crops. The seminar was held in a warm, friendly atmosphere, aided by a dinner at the restaurant "Wine Cellar" and dinner at the restaurant of Uzbek cuisine "Bukhara".
